A talk by animator and sculptor Peter Martin
Unfortunately we have had to cancel this talk as the speaker is unwell. Many apologies.
This illustrated talk will explore aspects of animation, where, like much creative practice, the link between process and visual language is intrinsically linked and intertwined.
Animation is an incredibly diverse medium, and this talk will focus primarily on artists’ use of it as a form of creative expression and communication.
Peter Martin worked as Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Animation course at Norwich University of the Arts and before that as Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Visual Studies Course. Peter is also a practising sculptor and has worked in theatre, film and TV production. The talk is informed by this personal experience of the relationship between art and animation.
