We now offer small grants of up to £500 twice a year to artists and other creatives who are ncas members and have strong links to Norfolk.

 

The current round has just ended and we are currently assessing applications. The successful bids will be announced shortly.

The next application deadline is Friday 28 February 2025 at midnight. We will open applications for the next round in January 2025. Please read the guidance for applicants below before applying.

 
 

 

Projects considered for funding

Exhibitions, events, and publications showcasing contemporary art. Educational programs featuring contemporary art, involving artists, community groups, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

We accept applications from artists, artist groups, curators or interdisciplinary partnerships. Artists and groups should NOT be in full time education. Applications may be considered if artists are in part time education.

Artists applying for a grant must be a ncas member (see website for details on how to join) and for groups, at least one member of the group should be a ncas member.

Please note that our funds are limited and not all applications for grants will be successful.

 
 

 

What we do not fund

Work not based in the visual arts. The purchase of artworks. Projects that have already started, though exceptions may be made after consultation with us. Applications from artists or groups who have been supported by ncas in the same financial year.

Deadlines

Applications will be considered twice a year in March and October. Deadline for the next round of applications is Friday 28 February 2025 at midnight. Late applications will not be considered but may be carried forwards to the next deadline. Applicants will be informed of the decision regarding their application within three weeks of the closing date.
