John Kiki has been a prolific painter for more than 55 years and his recent solo exhibition at the Yare Gallery in Great Yarmouth was a big success. While it was showing, Pete Huggins and Keith Roberts snuck into the gallery and grabbed a couple of hours of film. This formed the basis of a short 30-minute documentary that will be introduced by Amanda Geitner and discussed by the film makers.
The most recent book about John’s work, John Kiki: The Infanta Paintings (pub. Selwyn Taylor Limited), relates closely to the film and will also be discussed.
